LED Bulbs and Tubes
Lighting technology has greatly advanced and LED bulbs are more efficient than traditional metal halides and fluorescent lamps. LEDs can save up to 60% of your lighting energy consumption while providing same or higher lighting levels than traditional lamps and at the same time last twice as much as the traditional lamps. Retrofitting the traditional lamps with these LEDs lamps will cost money but the payback period is less than a year hence a worthy investment. Some of our LED lamps come with back up storage such that, in case of a power blackout, you can continue enjoying your lighting for about 4-6 hours without interruption.
Air curtains for conditioned spaces
An air curtain is a fan that projects a strong stream of air downwards to the floor and is placed above the entrance to a room so as to prevent the flow of conditioned and unconditioned air while at the same time keeping off insects, dust, pollutants and odours away from the indoor environment. Air curtains create an invisible barrier between the separate indoor and outdoor environments, without limiting the access of people coming in and out of the space.
Air curtains can save up to 30% energy consumption when the door is kept constantly open for continuous access in and out of the conditioned space, for instance a conditioned supermarket or restaurant. Also, air curtains with a mechanical interlock system can save up to 15% of energy consumption especially when the cold rooms are opened frequently.
